Situated in the southern bank of Jinjiang River of Jiuyan Bridge, the Wangjianglou Park is among the Top 10 Scenic Spots in Chengdu. It is a cultural relic in memorial of Xue Tao, a famous female poet in Tang Dynasty. Xue Tao favored the bamboo during her life so her descendant planted bamboo in this garden to show respects to her. The park is also called the “Bamboo Park”, which is the largest one among the parks with the theme of bamboo.
