The Park lies within the Guobei Town of Dongxing District, Neijiang. The Park is called Yangtze River Forest Park because it is one of the shelter forests of Yangtze River. It was built also to commemorate Fan Changjiang the giant of media industry who was born there. The total area of the park reaches 300 hectares including the ones of woodland and reservoir as over 200 hectares and 31 hectares respectively. In the Park, there are mainly Loblolly Pines, young forest of Slash Pines and Chinese Red Pines. The area is a world of forest and greenness with flourishing green trees stretching far away, singing like the waves of the ocean when wind blows.
