Liangshan Yi Nationality Slave Society Museum is located in front of Xiaosiping at the middle of Lu Mountain Scenery Spot, facing Qionghai Lake. It is covered by thick ancient trees and consists of buildings in ancient Yi style. The museum consists of 9 parts, including nationality history, social productivity, hierarchy and class, family common law, marriage and family, religious belief, culture and arts, custom and habit, and slave and common people fighting with salve system, with around 3,600 cultural relics, which reflects the original scene of Liangshan Yi Salve System and the traditional culture and customs of Yi Nationality. Liangshan Yi Slave Society Museum is the first nationality museum of China and the sole specific museum of the world reflecting the status of slave society.
